Water management/Hydrology

In the field of water management/hydrology we offer a wide range of expert and project services. It ranges from project owner consultancy to environmentally friendly removal of arising precipitation water to hydrologic reports on runoff-situations on unmonitored flowing waters up to complex reports for water systems. That includes the development of the waters in view of water quality, flood alleviation and exploitation of bodies of water. Here we are using our extensive equipment together with modern, computer-aided mathematical methods, e.g. numeric current models and precipitation - runoff-models.

Our activity focuses on the following services:

-

Hydrologic reports for precipitation-runoff-conditions in river areas, Determination of hydrological runoff data (low-flow, average-flow-, flood-flow)

-

Hydraulic calculation of flowing waters according to the DVWK-regulations

-

Mathematical two-dimensional models for surface water currents

-

Precipitation-runoff-models and their coupling to groundwater models

-

Cadastral water survey

-

New building, reclamation and renaturation of flowing waters, ponds and reservoirs as well as of flood water protection measures

-

Water supply networks, pumping stations, water treatment plants, drinking and industrial water reservoirs

-

Sewerage systems and waste water treatment plants

-

Plants for irrigation

-

Rainwater utilisation plants and non-central rainwater seepage plant

Furthermore, we can offer to plan water management projects and all our activities are also focused on innovative solutions. An example is the first water works in Germany, Nordhausen near the Harz Mountains, that is based on the membrane technology.
